Ms. Fluhrer is a Consultant with Rocky Mountain Institute and focuses on sustainable building, green certification, and energy design strategies for educational facilities, office, and industrial facilities as well as existing buildings. Ms. Fluhrer provides building energy modeling, life cycle cost analysis, workshop facilitation, and LEED documentation services for a variety of projects. Recently, she contributed to the development of an energy efficiency retrofit program for the Empire State Building. Currently, she is helping to develop RMI’s new 3‐5 year strategic plan, which includes the development of an initiative focused on existing commercial building retrofits. Research efforts focus on the business case for green building and green leasing strategies.
