Ms. Magenheim oversees the day-to-day logistics of one of the largest departments within Rocky Mountain Institute, providing support for nearly 30 BET staff engaged in more than 100 active projects around the world. Her primary responsibilities include project administration and continuous process improvement relative to the team’s business operations. She also serves as Senior VP Greg Franta’s assistant and speaking engagement coordinator.

Background:

A life-long love of language and culture led Monika to study at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in Hungary, where she also worked as a translator for the National College of Public Administration, the premier public officer-training institute in Hungary. She then applied her language and organizational skills to project management within the software localization industry, coordinating the translation, editing, and proofing of software and documentation systems being simultaneously released internationally in up to 30+ languages, as well as maintaining ISO 9001 documentation for her department’s operational processes. Monika also freelanced as a professional transcriptionist following several years of court reporter training and worked as an editor and corporate trainer for a Denver based steno-captioning company.
