Stephanie Hodgin: Analyst Stephanie Hodgin focuses on sustainable design and construction strategies for a variety of project types, including offices buildings, schools, manufacturing facilities, and neighborhood developments.  Her research efforts focus on green building rating systems and integrated design.  As a member of RMI’s LEED Review team, Stephanie manages the review process and uses her LEED expertise to review individual credits.  She also has experience planning and facilitating sustainable design charrettes.

Background:

Stephanie recently completed a Master’s degree in Construction Management with an emphasis in Sustainable Building from Colorado State University.  Her course work included topics such as sustainable design principles and practices, project management, and building operations and maintenance.  Stephanie focused her thesis research on Living Buildings, which involved conducting a large charrette to focus on the development of a comprehensive framework for defining and facilitating the creation of regenerative built environments.

Prior to joining RMI, Stephanie worked for the Institute for the Built Environment at CSU where she guided project teams through the LEED certification process and contributed to research and educational outreach programs.  She has also been actively involved in the USGBC Colorado Chapter-Northern Colorado Branch and worked with the Colorado Chapter to identify local Regional Priority credits for LEED 2009, a task fitting for this Colorado native.
