Bass Pro Retail Shops - Nation Wide

Bass Pro Shops is a national retail chain of outdoor sporting gear. As a supporter of multiple conservation leaders including the USDA Forest Service, the Nature Conservancy, and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Bass Pro is also committed to reducing the environmental impact of their retail buildings.

RMI/ENSAR Role

RMI/ENSAR served as a sustainable design consultant to Bass Pro for several of their stores across the United States. RMI/ENSAR provided energy efficient strategies for the building envelope and consulting on daylighting, glazing and shading strategies.

Results

Bass Pro Shop’s mission statement expresses their dedication to environmental conservation. By reducing the need for electric lighting, bass pro saves money and maintains a closer connection with the environment.

Bass Pro has received multiple retail/commercial design awards, such as the Association for Retail Environments Retail Design Award.
